Merry Christmas!

John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life’

Merry Christmas guys!

This is just a quick blog to remind you that we are celebrating today to remind us about the birth of Jesus whom came down to save every single one of us, it’s so easy to get hung up on all the presents and the nice food but never forget God.
Growing up for me there was always something going, always a problem, always trials and tribulations but I tried to not let any of those things knock my faith. I just want to encourage all my fellow young Christians and everyone else who may be reading, although it can be hard at times, never lose sight of God. Count your blessings everyday and be grateful for what He has done, you may be in a situation where it’s looking difficult but just remember God will never put us in a predicament that we can’t handle. Whatever obstacle you might be going through always remember the Bible says,(Romans 8:18) the pain you are feeling can not compare to the joy that is about to come.

Have an amazing Christmas and an even better New year. God Bless💋

Don’t Be A Slave To Social Media.

'It's better to be realistic and come out of the virtual world. The moment you do this. You will come to acknowledge the worthy connections of your life’ - Aayush Verma I was reading the blog I wrote last year about social media not being real life and I was there scrolling through thinking damn, factsss 😂 . So it’s only right I do an updated version and drop a few gems for you lot. My title pretty much says it all. Don’t.be.a.slave.to.social.media. PLEASE don’t do it. Social media should not be able to dictate your life, your decisions and who YOU are but sadly for majority of people this is the case and it shows. Social media is an infectious disease that controls the mind. If you participate in at least 1 of the 4 points below then you know social media is pulling your strings. How to know when you’re a slave to social media? -   Living life for social media - People literally feel the need to post every single detail of their life, I'll go on snap and

Social Media Isn’t Real Life

There were over 12,000 counselling sessions with young people who spoke to Child line about online issues last year’ Every single day I go on social media and witness the same quotes, the same opinions and the same stories. The first thing most of us do, [well I personally do anyway] when we wake up is check our phones, phones are life and death for some of us and it definitely shouldn’t be like this.  Social media corrupts the mind of us all, it encourages us to think a certain way and act a certain way, it makes us believe that if you’re not doing recognised things you’re not ‘ cool ‘ enough or you’re not living the right lifestyle. Who seriously makes these rules? There is so much pressure especially on young people today to obtain a certain image. Why Is it even a thing for young boys ages 16-21 to be financially stable ? We are made to think that this is the norm however that male posting consistent pictures in designer wear can NOT afford it, don’t be fooled by social media.

Happy Black History Month!

'Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave, I am the dream and hope of the slave' - Maya Angelou  As black history month comes to an end I decided to do my first blog on just that. My memories of black history month growing up was absolutely ridiculous. It was basically non existent, we never once learnt about black history in all my years of education, it wasn’t made a big fuss over or any fuss at all. I believe that the learning of black history is momentous especially for the younger generation, they should grow up with knowing issues that were faced in the past. It is important in order for people to not grow up ignorant about the past and present. What makes the government think learning about Henry the Vlll and Margaret Thatcher is more important than learning about Ruby bridges. This is probably even the first time you’ve heard her name, the educational system is ethnocentric.Who’s really been to a school where learning about the culture and history of blacks was a p
